Canteen Facilitator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Canteen Facilitator to join our team at Serco. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while managing the canteen facilities at Clarence Correctional Centre. As a Canteen Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and supporting rehabilitation efforts. Join us in making a positive impact!

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the canteen facilities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes.
• Ensure compliance with security checks for all deliveries.
• Issue stock in accordance with Centre policies and procedures.
• Produce accurate reports to support finance and logistics processes.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in stock management or equivalent experience.
• Experience in customer service within a retail or stock environment.
• Proficient in data entry and maintaining computerized records.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and stock management.
• Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• A current Forklift Licence and valid Driver’s Licence.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a correctional or secure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
