About the Role

We are seeking a skilled C4ISR Technician to join our team remotely, providing critical support for avionics systems across various operations. This role is essential for ensuring the effectiveness of our C4ISR capabilities, particularly in the context of USAF CSAR units. You will leverage your extensive experience in intelligence, communications, and avionics to enhance training, modernization, and tactical employment efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Provide technical expertise for aircraft avionics systems, including the HC-130J, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with military standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for aircrew and maintenance personnel on avionics systems and operational procedures.
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and software updates for avionics systems, ensuring all equipment is mission-ready.
  • Assist in the execution of immediate C4I solutions for time-critical operations, managing data link feeds and configuring communication interfaces.
  • Collaborate with intelligence and aircrew personnel to develop mission requests and execute flight plans effectively.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and advanced training from a technical trade school or military technical school.
  • A minimum of 10 years of aircraft avionics work experience, with at least 4 years in tactical communication networks.
  • Proficient in mission planning tools such as Improved Many on Many (IMOM) and Falcon View (FVW).
  • Must possess a current Government SECRET security clearance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with HC-130J systems and USAF CSAR TTPs.
  • Experience in a high-functioning team within an avionics environment.
  • Familiarity with avionics project scheduling and maintenance requirements.
