Business Operations Lead - Remote Position at Cohere

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Operations Lead - Remote to join our dynamic team at Cohere. As a Business Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in influencing strategic decision-making and optimizing our business operations.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with leaders across the organization, including product, GTM, and research and engineering, to build consensus and drive strategic initiatives.
• Optimize pricing and packaging strategies to ensure our offerings are attractive and profitable for customers.
• Develop financial models and analyses to evaluate new and existing business opportunities.
• Contribute to corporate development activities, including fundraising, strategic partnerships, investor relations, and M&A.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and new opportunities for innovation and growth.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in top-tier investment banking or consulting, preferably with a focus on software, technology, or digital infrastructure.
• Technical background in fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Mathematics is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a high-ownership mentality.
• Ability to solve complex problems and operate at a high level of strategic thinking.
• Experience in BizOps, product management, or investing is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in AI or related fields.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
