Architecture Practice Operations Lead - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an Architecture Practice Operations Lead - Remote to join NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS). In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering day-to-day operational activities that enhance the effectiveness of our Architecture and Design practice. You will lead and support architecture team members, ensuring that we maintain high standards of service delivery excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support architecture team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Manage operational tasks such as timesheets and performance reviews to ensure team accountability.
• Coordinate work intake and maintain a workload tracker for efficient project management.
• Produce reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to track performance metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Encourage team culture and promote learning and development opportunities.
• Support consistent ways of working across the practice to enhance collaboration.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Maintain data quality standards in reporting to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in people leadership and performance management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience in operational or project coordination within technology-enabled environments.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Confidence with data and reporting tools, particularly Excel and Power BI.
• A proactive mindset focused on enhancing team effectiveness.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is required.
• Experience in IT or digital delivery teams is desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience in managing remote teams.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of architectural design principles.
