Accounting Student Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Accounting Student Assistant to join our dynamic finance team at Arthur D. Little. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting while working remotely. As an integral part of our international finance team, you will support various accounting functions for up to 20 hours a week.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary contact for travel expenses, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of expense reports in compliance with our travel policy.
• Responsible for the posting and accounting of expense reports.
• Assist the finance team in archiving incoming and intercompany invoices.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize accounting processes and digital tools.
• Engage in various accounting tasks to enhance your practical knowledge in the field.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or Business Administration, having completed at least the third semester.
• Practical experience in accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• IT affinity with an interest in digitalization and process optimization.
• Strong flexibility, reliability, and a structured working style with a high service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
