Accountant/​Financial Controller - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant/Financial Controller to join our fast-growing international SaaS company. This remote opportunity allows you to manage end-to-end accounting processes while ensuring tax compliance and contributing to the financial strategy of our business. As an Accountant/Financial Controller, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the financial function of our organization.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting in Xero for our US company.
• Coordinate and control US tax filings with external US CPA, while monitoring international tax obligations such as VAT, Sales Tax, and Transfer Pricing.
• Prepare management and financial reports in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to the overall accounting strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or tax.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP; understanding of international tax is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+).
• Based in Cyprus; we assist with BCS work permits.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards.
• Certifications such as CPA or ACCA.
