Working Student in IT Project Management - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a Working Student in IT Project Management to join our team at DigitalService. This remote position offers you the chance to be part of a dynamic project team that supports the digital transformation of government services. As a Working Student in IT Project Management, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and classifying IT projects within the federal administration, ensuring quality assurance through your structured and timely work approach.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the operational review of IT projects for the federal administration.
- Evaluate and classify IT projects based on predefined criteria.
- Conduct initial assessments of IT projects, including relevance, service allocation, and risk evaluation.
- Analyze IT framework plans and contribute to the preparation of statements regarding IT projects.
- Create and maintain text modules for professional guidance and documentation.
Requirements
- You are in an advanced Bachelor’s or Master’s program in (Business) Informatics, Political Science, or a related field with an IT focus.
- You possess good IT knowledge and are interested in efficient processes within government administration.
- Ideally, you have some experience in product, IT, or transformation management.
- You work independently and are able to meet deadlines effectively.
- You demonstrate strong communication skills and analytical thinking, and can adapt well to changes.
- Fluent in both German and English (C1 level) as both languages are used in daily operations.
- You are available from May 2026 for at least 6 months, ideally for 20 hours per week.
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with government IT processes.
- Interest in digital solutions for public administration.
