About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Working Student in Digital Marketing & Growth to join Meaningful Travel. This remote position allows you to promote meaningful and sustainable travel worldwide through our platform, Volunteer World, which connects volunteers with international aid projects. As a Working Student in Digital Marketing & Growth, you will support the growth of our social media channels in collaboration with travelers and international organizations.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in designing and distributing weekly newsletters to engage our audience.
  • Implement holistic strategies for lead generation to attract new volunteers.
  • Develop innovative cooperation ideas and put them into practice to enhance our outreach.
  • Optimize video, photo, and text content to inform volunteers about engagement opportunities worldwide.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance our digital presence and impact.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student in Media Studies, American Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferably some practical experience from internships or student projects in digital marketing.
  • Excellent German and English skills, with a passion for engaging with international partners and volunteers.
  • Additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian, or Danish) are a plus.
  • Strong comprehension, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Experience with tools like Canva or CapCut is helpful, and a willingness to try new tools (e.g., AI tools).

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Interest in sustainable travel and volunteer opportunities.
