About the Role

What You'll Do

• Lead security assessments and audits for Mozilla's products and services.
• Develop and implement security best practices and policies.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of application security testing tools.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
