Spa Therapist - Remote Opportunity with KYN

About the Role

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Spa Therapist - Remote position with KYN. As a Spa Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional spa experiences to our residents while working remotely. This position allows you to support our Life and Enrichment Wellbeing Lead in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents.

What You'll Do

• Deliver a variety of spa services, including manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials, to a high standard.
• Assist in implementing a whole home approach to meaningful occupation for all residents.
• Engage with residents, providing spa treatments tailored to their individual needs, including those who may be bedridden.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to health and safety compliance.
• Provide recommendations and advice on treatments and products to enhance residents' wellness.
• Schedule appointments and liaise with third parties as needed.
• Support the team in leading life-enriching activities and delivering hospitality services.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.

Requirements

• Experience working within a beauty therapy venue.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy.
• Strong communication skills and a cooperative, polite manner.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a care home or similar environment.
• Knowledge of holistic health practices.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the spa and Life Enrichment Team.
