About the Role

We are seeking a Solar and Energy Storage Project Manager to join a leading solar power plant developer, owner, and operator. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical lifecycle of solar and energy storage projects in San Antonio, TX. As a Solar and Energy Storage Project Manager remote, you will be at the forefront of scaling utility-scale portfolios and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead design reviews (30% through IFC) and ensure compliance with industry codes.
  • Manage engineering deliverables, schedules, and technical contract reviews.
  • Act as the technical bridge between EPC contractors, internal procurement, and operations teams to resolve RFIs and NCRs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in solar and/or energy storage projects.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale project design and construction processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work from the San Antonio office daily; no remote flexibility.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy regulations and standards.
  • Certifications in project management (PMP or similar).
