Software Engineer - Remote Position at Nimble

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our team at Nimble. As a Software Engineer remote, you will be part of a dynamic project squad dedicated to solving our clients' most challenging business problems through innovative technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and other team members to ensure efficient project planning and execution, all while working from the comfort of your home.

What You'll Do

• Actively participate in project squads, contributing to a variety of project sizes.
• Write clean, composable, and maintainable code to develop world-class products for our clients.
• Conduct code reviews with your squad members to ensure quality and best practices.
• Write automated tests to maintain the integrity of the products we build.
• Engage in technical discussions with clients, primarily supported by the Product Owner.
• Continuously learn new technologies and programming languages such as Ruby, JavaScript, Go, PHP, or Python.
• Share knowledge through team rituals and contribute to defining internal processes that align with our company mission.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional web development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Ruby, JavaScript, Go, PHP, or Python.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS, or AngularJS.
• Ability to work on both frontend and backend aspects of web applications.
• Experience in writing automated tests for web applications.
• A strong focus on reusability, maintainability, security, and performance in application development.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of cloud services and deployment strategies.
