ServiceNow Specialist ITOM Support Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Specialist ITOM Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end support, optimization, enhancement, and governance of ServiceNow ITOM (Visibility & Health) and Core CMDB platforms in complex enterprise environments. Your expertise will empower our organization to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain platform stability, performance, and SLA compliance for ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB.
  • Manage upgrades, patches, system clones, releases, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Support incident resolution, major incidents, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Oversee ITOM Discovery, MID Servers, integrations, and ensure CMDB data quality.
  • Implement configurations, enhancements, automated workflows, and new capabilities to improve system functionality.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Lead Engineers to ensure stability and strategic value delivery.
  • Monitor and improve CMDB data health and compliance, developing dashboards and reporting to drive remediation.
  • Conduct proactive and reactive performance monitoring, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience with ServiceNow ITOM Products.
  • 3 or more years of experience with ServiceNow Core CMDB Products and integration capabilities.
  • 2 or more years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM Products.
  • 2 or more years of experience with ITIL or similar IT Service Management frameworks.
  • BSc in Information Technology or equivalent diploma is advantageous.
  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM Visibility and Health, Performance Analytics, and Reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Hardware and Software Asset Management.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management and Operational Support.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and technical standards.
