Senior UI/​UX Designer - Hybrid Role for Healthcare Analytics

About the Role

We are expanding our ICyte Application team with a hybrid UI/UX Designer remote who will play a critical role in shaping intuitive, scalable, and efficient user experiences for our analytics and workflow applications. This role blends UX research, interaction design, design systems management, and hands-on front-end development in Angular. As a UI/UX Designer remote, you will have the opportunity to impact the healthcare industry positively.

What You'll Do

  • Lead user research activities such as user studies, interviews, card sorting, usability tests, and iterative prototyping.
  • Translate complex domain requirements into wireframes, workflows, information architectures, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Build and maintain scalable Figma component libraries and design systems.
  • Develop responsive UI components using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, and CSS frameworks.
  • Implement reusable UI patterns and component architectures.
  • Optimize front-end performance through AOT compilation, tree-shaking, and efficient observable patterns.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and product owners.
  • Participate in refinement, sprint planning, and agile lifecycle activities.
  • Ensure UI reliability through testing, responsiveness checks, and accessibility reviews.
  • Utilize Git/GitHub and DevOps workflows to deliver stable code.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
  • Expertise with Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Experience building scalable design systems.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Strong performance optimization and Angular build expertise.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps workflows.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and agile methodologies.
  • Strong collaboration, ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail.
