Senior Test Engineer - Remote Opportunity with Wipro

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Wipro. This Senior Test Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that address complex digital transformation needs. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of high-quality applications and features.

What You'll Do

• Develop detailed test plans for web-based and device-based applications, including social media applications.
• Create comprehensive test cases and test suites for application features, change requests, and new business requirements.
• Execute test cases to validate new features, changes, defects regression, and new releases.
• Perform both manual and automated testing across multiple platforms, including mobile and desktop.
• Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
• Experience with test management and defect management tools.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or pytest.
• Good understanding of software development, DevOps, and quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with social media applications and platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

• Experience with social media application testing.
• Knowledge of social media application features and system integrations.
