Senior Software Engineer - Remote Healthcare Technology

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Certify. As a Senior Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in scaling our core platform and accelerating product delivery in the healthcare technology sector.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to deployment and support.
• Build scalable, maintainable systems that adapt to evolving product needs.
• Partner with product teams to clarify requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Improve reliability and code quality through strong engineering practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to independently define solutions and contribute to architecture.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
• Strong engineering fundamentals including testing, clean code, and maintainability.
• Experience improving system performance and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with sensitive data and security best practices (PII).

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with healthcare, compliance, or regulated environments.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) or entity resolution systems.
• Experience improving developer productivity through CI/CD and tooling.
