About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile Full Stack) to join our innovative team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work on a brand-new mobile product that aims to transition a successful brick-and-mortar business into the digital realm. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product, technology, and team culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack features and mobile-first products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Architect and deliver scalable, maintainable systems using modern frameworks and best practices.
  • Build mobile applications using Flutter, Dart, NestJS, Node.js, Postgres, Microservices, and AWS.
  • Develop backend services and APIs that enhance user experience.
  • Drive product discovery and experimentation with a focus on user impact.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, product roadmaps, and technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack or product-focused software development.
  • Direct experience building mobile products from scratch in startup or greenfield environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Flutter/Dart, Node.js (required), and NestJS (plus).
  • Experience with Microservices and backend development.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, Firebase, or WebSockets is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile environments and leading sprint planning or retrospectives.
  • Proven experience in leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred).
  • Knowledge of user experience design principles.
