About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer - AI Researcher to join our innovative team at Netskope. What You'll Do

  • Conduct in-depth research on AI frameworks, focusing on MCP and LLM security layers.
  • Identify and define security-related attributes, assessing their risk and protection values.
  • Design and maintain automation scripts using Python or Node.js for data extraction from various sources.
  • Perform basic security testing to validate AI attributes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor the threat landscape for AI-specific breaches and vulnerabilities.
  • Engage with AI developers and security researchers to clarify technical specifications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AI research activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Foundational knowledge of LLMs and AI Agents, including RAG and MCP concepts.
  • Understanding of security attributes and common AI vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and extract relevant metadata.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex security findings.

  • Experience with web scraping and data extraction techniques.
  • Familiarity with security standards such as SOC2/ISO.
  • Interest in exploring and testing AI systems for vulnerabilities.
