About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Researcher - Remote to join our innovative cybersecurity team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our security posture by conducting in-depth research and analysis of vulnerabilities, zero-day threats, and exploit development. As a Senior Security Researcher, you will work remotely, collaborating with a talented team of professionals dedicated to protecting our clients from emerging cyber threats.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive security research and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses in our systems.
  • Develop and implement advanced detection engineering techniques to enhance our security infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze malware and reverse engineer threats to improve our response strategies.
  • Lead initiatives in penetration testing and vulnerability discovery to proactively address security gaps.
  • Engage in threat intelligence activities to stay ahead of emerging cyber risks and provide actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security research, with a focus on offensive security and vulnerability analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience with SIEM tools.
  • Proven track record in malware analysis, exploit development, and reverse engineering.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and their security implications.
  • Experience in conducting research on zero-day vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or similar.
  • Experience with big data technologies and their application in security research.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and browser security.
