Senior Project Manager - Finance Transformations (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Finance Transformations to join our team at Samsara. In this remote role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming complex billing and collection challenges into streamlined processes, focusing on operational excellence within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) team. With your expertise, you will help bridge the gap between long-term vision and daily execution, ensuring that our financial operations are efficient and effective.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a project manager and operational problem solver, directing the end-to-end O2C portfolio.
• Focus on eliminating bottlenecks and delivering scalable solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct market research to benchmark O2C performance and generate insights to recommend actions to leadership.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for daily O2C operations, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that drive financial success.
• Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Stripe, and Netsuite to optimize project outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively.
• Pivot between strategic planning and tactical troubleshooting to meet project goals.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in project management, particularly in finance transformations.
• Proven experience in invoicing and collections.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights.
• Experience with Salesforce, Stripe, and Netsuite is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the IoT industry or related fields.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
