About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team at Virtasant. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to cutting-edge cloud solutions. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-performing applications that drive our business forward.

What You'll Do

• Build and enhance modern React applications, ensuring they are scalable and production-ready.
• Translate UX designs into functional components that meet user needs.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and/or Python.
• Deploy and manage services in AWS utilizing serverless architecture.
• Own features end-to-end, from development to monitoring and maintenance.
• Participate in architectural discussions to improve platform scalability.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and observability of applications in production.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Proven track record of building production-grade web applications.
• Experience with Node.js (preferred) and Python.
• Knowledge of API design and RESTful service development.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda and API Gateway.
• Understanding of monitoring and observability practices.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Unit testing experience and an ownership mindset.
