About the Role

Orchestry is hiring a full-time Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team, working remotely from Canada. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable platform solutions that enhance our product offerings and improve user experience. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure the reliability of our platform.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust platform architecture to support our SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define and refine platform requirements.
• Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
