Senior Physiotherapist - Acute Care Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist - Acute Care Remote position within Albury Wodonga Health. This role is perfect for an experienced physiotherapist who is self-motivated and passionate about acute medical management. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will have the chance to work across various medical streams including the Emergency Department and acute medical wards at both Albury and Wodonga campuses.

What You'll Do

• Manage a diverse clinical caseload, including acute stroke, medical oncology, respiratory, falls and frailty, neuro, cardiac, general surgical, trauma, and higher-acuity respiratory management.
• Provide mentorship and support to our rotating physiotherapists, fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Utilize your leadership qualities to influence and guide your team in a busy and demanding environment.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring clear and friendly interactions.
• Adapt to the dynamic needs of the acute wards, demonstrating flexibility and solution-focused thinking.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a physiotherapist in acute inpatient management.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse groups.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
