About the Role
We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative software solutions that enhance our application systems. This is a contract-to-hire position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design and suggest innovative modifications in application systems to improve functionality.
- Develop and maintain various database resources while managing activities associated with database management.
- Manage your own work time and priorities in accordance with aggressive development deadlines and best practices.
- Perform a wide range of activities associated with application analysis, programming, and design functions.
- Develop or acquire test data, testing and debugging to produce required results and revising the programs.
- Utilize your experience in .NET programming, including ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and T-SQL.
- Implement REST/SOAP-based web services/APIs and integrate with JavaScript frameworks and mobile application development frameworks.
- Ensure web development standards are met, including CSS, HTML5, and XML.
Requirements
- Strong experience in .NET programming and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good understanding of N-tier and N-layered architecture.
- Experience with web development technologies including CSS, HTML5, and XML.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards such as X12 and HL7 is a plus.
- Ability to collect and analyze facts, identify problems, and provide solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed documentation and reports.
- Experience managing project work and setting priorities for team members.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with mobile application development frameworks.
- Experience in responsive design frameworks.
- Knowledge of data communication principles.
