About the Role

HyroTrader is a fast-growing crypto proprietary trading firm expanding its core infrastructure. We are building a high-performance, real-time trading system connecting to multiple crypto exchanges. We are looking for a Senior Low-Latency Trading Systems Engineer to design and implement critical backend components powering our trading environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative space, where your contributions will directly impact our trading capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement real-time order routing and state management systems.
  • Integrate with various exchange APIs using REST and WebSocket protocols.
  • Develop risk validation and account logic to ensure secure trading operations.
  • Create high-availability, fault-tolerant backend services that support our trading infrastructure.
  • Utilize event-driven architecture, particularly Kafka-based systems, for efficient data handling.
  • Implement low-latency WebSocket streaming to enhance real-time data delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong production experience in Go (preferred) or Rust.
  • Deep understanding of concurrency and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with WebSockets at scale.
  • Proficiency in Kafka and Redis for data streaming and caching.
  • Strong SQL skills, preferably with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing scalable and resilient systems.
  • Solid networking fundamentals to support system integration.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating crypto exchange APIs.
  • Background in trading systems or financial infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Experience in performance tuning and load testing to optimize system efficiency.
