Senior Kotlin Engineer - Mobile Development

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Kotlin Engineer to join our team in Lisbon. This Senior Kotlin Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain privacy-focused SDKs for mobile applications, mobile games, TV applications, and other platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain privacy-focused SDKs for mobile applications and TV applications.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the Core Privacy Engine using Kotlin for mobile technologies.
• Build and maintain mobile and TV user interfaces for privacy products.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define product vision, architecture, and delivery plans.
• Actively participate in product planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to continuously improve product quality and team performance.
• Take ownership of product features, ensuring high quality and reliability across multiple platforms.
• Review code from other team members, providing constructive feedback and maintaining clean code standards.
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve issues across a variety of mobile and TV environments.
• Explore and contribute to new technologies and platforms as needed (e.g., Unity, Roku, Flutter, React Native).

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing with Kotlin.
• Strong interest and hands-on experience in mobile application development.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architectures and SDK development.
• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability, with a passion for automated testing.
• Proven ability to take ownership of features and collaborate across multiple technical teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge existing solutions constructively and engage in technical discussions.
• Experience debugging and resolving issues across different mobile and TV platforms.
• Fluent level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unity, Roku, Flutter, or React Native.
• Previous experience in a hybrid work environment.
