We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team at JPS Tech Solutions. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, test, and maintain enterprise-level software applications.
• Support business units and internal teams by delivering reliable and scalable solutions.
• Participate in the design and implementation of complex applications using modern technologies.
• Provide technical direction and contribute to system architecture decisions.
• Act as a senior technical resource and subject matter expert.
• Lead projects and guide team members on special initiatives or operational tasks.
• Collaborate with external developers and vendors to ensure timely software delivery.
• Maintain accountability for technical quality, best practices, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience in software development.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, and J2EE.
• Experience with Kafka, cloud technologies, and API gateways.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB; exposure to .NET is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-diagnosis skills.
• Experience designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with source control/version control systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
