Senior HR Generalist - Remote Opportunity at Brooks Running
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist - Remote to join our dynamic team at Brooks Running. In this role, you will be a vital part of the Brooks Asia HR Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Human Resources department. You will apply innovative approaches and a deep understanding of regional and company culture to enhance the employee experience and contribute to making Brooks a better place to work.
What You'll Do
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle in Shanghai, collaborating with the Asia Recruiter to devise and implement effective recruitment strategies for high-quality talent.
- Participate in developing onboarding materials and manage the onboarding process to ensure a positive employee experience that reflects Brooks culture.
- Coordinate off-boarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Provide guidance on local immigration and relocation regulations to ensure compliance for global assignment employees.
- Lead the design and implementation of new HR initiatives and policies, ensuring regular updates and clear communication to employees.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and ensure regulatory compliance in all countries represented.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with leaders to review talent management, performance, and career development.
- Design programs to address staff turnover and retention, utilizing local market data to inform compensation decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the Human Resources field.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish credibility at all levels.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with HR systems like Workday.
- A passion for sports and understanding of the running community.
