We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer remote to join our team at Maxonic, Inc. What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly performant user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Champion best practices in coding, lead technical design discussions, and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate wireframes and user stories into robust, user-centric features.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and cross-browser compatibility issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Take ownership of significant feature development, from initial architecture to deployment and monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with extensive expertise in React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
  • Expertise in state management libraries (e.g., Redux or equivalent).
  • Solid grasp of frontend architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mobile-first design principles.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
