About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Technical Lead (Remote) to join our dynamic team at AtkinsRéalis. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical design work while working remotely from India. What You'll Do
- Direct teams in technical design work, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and codes.
- Define briefs and scopes of work, leading bid proposals effectively.
- Manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programs.
- Collaborate closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Set quality assurance standards in design and grow electrical engineering capabilities within the practice.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centers, and electrical installations in industrial environments.
- Conduct HAZOP assessments and ensure adherence to current UK design standards.
- Write technical reports at all stages of the project lifecycle and communicate with clients across various regions including the UK, Middle East, and North America.
Requirements
- 4-10 years of experience in an engineering consultancy, preferably with UK-based experience.
- Extensive experience in the UK water industry.
- Proven technical leadership in multidisciplinary delivery.
- Strong understanding of HAZOP, DSEAR, CDM, and relevant British and European Standards.
- Ability to coordinate with wider teams on multidisciplinary projects.

- Experience with digital design tools and automated design processes.
