Senior Data Scientist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be pivotal in leading the design and deployment of machine learning models focused on customer behavior. As a Senior Data Scientist remote, you'll drive insights that influence product decisions, ensuring that data-driven strategies are at the forefront of our client’s business initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML models predicting customer behaviors such as churn and lifetime value.
• Build behavioral segmentation frameworks and uplift models for product and marketing strategies.
• Drive product insights using causal inference and experimentation techniques.
• Own analytics for key initiatives, defining success metrics and guiding experimentation.
• Establish statistical models that elucidate the impact of marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data model scalability and operational workflows.
• Provide technical mentorship and elevate best practices within the analytics team.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, preferably in SaaS or AdTech environments.
• Proven knowledge of predictive modeling and customer behavior analytics.
• Experience with causal inference techniques and experimentation frameworks.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with hands-on experience in production-grade ML models.
• Ability to define metrics and shape product strategy in partnership with product teams.
• Excellent data storytelling skills, able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience navigating ambiguous problem spaces to drive long-term strategies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of R or other statistical programming languages.
