About the Role

What You'll Do

• Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines using modern technologies.
• Optimize performance and scalability of existing data pipelines.
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Mentor junior data engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to bring scientific models into production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable data pipelines.
• Experience deploying workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python and the Python data stack.

Nice to Have

• Expertise with AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of MLOps best practices.
• Experience in Earth observation or computer vision fields.
