Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's information systems and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards. As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents effectively.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with ISO 27001 standards.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents promptly to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all projects.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on security awareness and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to enhance our security posture.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Participate in security awareness programs and initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on risk assessment and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and its implementation.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.

• Experience with cloud security and data protection.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with penetration testing and ethical hacking.
