Senior Credit Risk Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will drive insight, shape strategy, and strengthen credit risk excellence. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering the technical and analytical foundations that underpin our Credit Risk function.

What You'll Do

• Provide expert technical support for the development, validation, and implementation of credit risk models, including Scorecards and ECL/IFRS9.
• Own the model lifecycle plan, coordinating independent validations and monitoring model performance.
• Conduct in-depth analytics across customer credit profiles and key macroeconomic indicators to highlight emerging risks and opportunities.
• Support the enhancement and implementation of credit risk policies aligned with strategy and regulatory expectations.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and insights for Bank Risk Committees.

Requirements

• Established experience in credit risk model development or credit risk analytics within financial services.
• Hands-on experience in Scorecards and ECL/IFRS9 models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex modelling concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, R, or data visualization tools.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of IFRS9 / US GAAP standards and the regulatory landscape for credit risk.
