About the Role

We are seeking a Sea Logistics Operational Care Intern to join our dynamic team at Kuehne+Nagel. This remote internship offers an incredible opportunity to learn about logistics and supply chain management while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to clients worldwide. As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in coordinating sea freight shipments and understanding the complexities of logistics operations.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Coordinate sea freight orders with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor sea shipments from pickup to delivery and communicate progress to all parties involved.
• Maintain active communication with customers to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the transport chain.
• Document necessary information and records in systems for effective shipment management.
• Report discrepancies and work collaboratively with experts and stakeholders to find solutions.
• Ensure compliance with shipping instructions, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Coordinate transport orders and communicate any changes, discrepancies, or additional needs to customers.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or current student in logistics or international trade programs.
• Interest in logistics and freight forwarding.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Positive customer service attitude and willingness to solve challenges.
• Self-motivated and organized work style.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with logistics software or tools.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations.
• Previous internship experience in logistics or customer service.
