Remote Software Engineer - Sandboxing Infrastructure

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Anthropic. In this role, you will work on our sandboxing infrastructure, which is crucial for safely executing code and interacting with external systems. As we expand Claude's capabilities, the reliability, security, and developer experience of this infrastructure become increasingly critical.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement the client-side library/API for our sandboxing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and address errors and edge cases.
• Maintain and evolve a system that must be correct, performant, and intuitive to use.
• Build a roadmap that anticipates future product needs and enhancements.
• Combine deep infrastructure expertise with a strong focus on developer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
• Experience with API design and client-side libraries.
• Understanding of security principles in software development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
