About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Software Development Manager to lead our dynamic team at GHX. This role is pivotal in driving our technical initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a Remote Software Development Manager, you will be hands-on in both technical leadership and people management, guiding your team through the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Lead a high-impact development team, focusing on delivering customer outcomes and building modern delivery pipelines.
• Actively contribute to production-quality code, dedicating up to 50% of your time to development tasks.
• Utilize your expertise in Angular for front-end development and Java for back-end solutions, deploying on AWS.
• Oversee the technical roadmap and design, ensuring alignment with product and architectural goals.
• Implement Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decisions.
• Mentor team members, providing career guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to execute technical, architectural, and commercial product initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the development team, ensuring high performance and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or similar role, with a strong background in software engineering.
• Expertise in Angular and Java, with hands-on experience in AWS services such as RDS, Elastic Search, Redis, MongoDB, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in leading Agile teams.
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing high-availability platforms and modern delivery pipelines.
