Remote Senior Test Engineer - Quality Assurance Specialist
About the Role
We're hiring a Remote Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Endpoint Clinical. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions that support the life sciences industry. With a focus on testing and validation, you will collaborate closely with product engineering and management teams to deliver high-quality systems.
What You'll Do
- Participate in product discovery for planning and requirements gathering.
- Support and provide input during development cycles, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases, report and track software defects, and conduct regression testing.
- Document test case execution and maintain testing documents, including validation plans and risk assessments.
- Engage in defect assessment and deployment verification activities.
- Stay current with industry standards for automated, performance, and security testing.
- Interact with Product Management, Development, and Testing teams to provide progress and status reports.
- Utilize tools for API testing and test automation to enhance testing efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in software integration testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of technical software concepts and database interactions.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with test automation tools like Playwright, and security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like Blazemeter and JMeter is a plus.
- Understanding of n-tiered architectures and related testing strategies.
- Proficiency in XML and JSON.
