What You'll Do

• Own and elevate product documentation, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
• Design and deliver high-impact content that assists data practitioners in solving complex data preparation and analytics challenges.
• Translate sophisticated technical concepts into actionable guidance for diverse audiences, from advanced engineers to business users.
• Utilize your expertise in data engineering, analytics, and preparation to craft clear and concise documentation.
• Develop various formats of documentation, including user guides, product manuals, quick start guides, and video tutorials.
• Ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment across all customer-facing content.
• Independently evaluate product functionality through direct use to enhance documentation quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in Software Platform or B2B SaaS environments.
• 4+ years of experience in ETL, data engineering, data preparation, or business analytics.
• Proficiency in writing content in Markdown, with version control in GitHub, and creating visuals in Figma.
• Basic coding skills and familiarity with SDKs, APIs, and CLIs.
• Exceptional command of written English, with strong editorial judgment and clarity in technical documentation.
• Ability to tailor documentation for various audiences, adjusting depth, tone, and structure for maximum clarity.

Nice to Have

• Experience with video tutorials and multimedia content creation.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative tools.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in data analytics and AI technologies.
