About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Senior Python Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Bloomreach. In this role, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining our advanced analytics platform, which is designed to revolutionize how businesses connect with their customers through AI-driven personalization. As a Remote Senior Python Software Engineer, you will work closely with our Analytics team to develop backend systems that handle large volumes of customer data, ensuring high performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services that power our analytics platform.
  • Own and evolve multi-cloud export pipelines integrating with AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and SFTP.
  • Implement features such as data expiration and analytics CRUD for reports, segmentations, and funnels.
  • Focus on resilience, observability, and performance in all backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and improve user experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Python software development, particularly in backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and data export pipelines.
  • Proficient in designing resilient and performant backend services.
  • Ability to work remotely within the Central European Time Zone (CET).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
