What You'll Do
- Design and implement enterprise data models to support a mature and evolving data ecosystem.
- Optimize data models and maintain event-driven pipelines in a cloud-native architecture.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data integration and API support.
- Work with large-scale data environments, ensuring performance and scalability across a modern AWS data stack.
- Utilize Snowflake and Aurora Postgres for data storage and management.
- Develop data pipelines using Python and AWS data services such as Glue, Lambda, and DMS.
- Implement CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
- Support enterprise-scale data platforms and maintain production-grade systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on enterprise data modeling.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Aurora Postgres.
- Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise (logical & physical design).
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, DMS, EventBridge).
- Strong Python experience for developing data pipelines.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions).
- Comfortable working in the ET time zone.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Terraform.
- Exposure to artifact management and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Experience in performance tuning at scale.
- Experience implementing automated data quality frameworks.
- Prior experience in enterprise or large distributed systems.
