About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Stack AV. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our autonomous systems designed to improve the safety and efficiency of the trucking transportation industry. As a Remote Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will work on backend-focused full stack projects that are pivotal to the success of our self-driving technology.

What You'll Do

  • Own the cloud infrastructure for the Remote Assist system, overseeing the specification, design, development, rigorous testing, performance optimization, and maintenance.
  • Influence the entire end-to-end Remote Assist system, ensuring seamless integration with our autonomous technology.
  • Develop complex user interfaces that facilitate remote assistance for our self-driving systems in challenging situations.
  • Implement reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support live video streaming over cellular connections.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver new autonomy capabilities and integrations with our existing systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Software Engineer, with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with full stack development, particularly in building scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, especially as they apply to autonomous systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the trucking or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with video streaming technologies.
