About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Principal DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at GHX. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a senior technical leader within the DevSecOps Center of Excellence (CoE), driving automation, security, observability, and cost optimization across the enterprise. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about enhancing software delivery through innovative practices and technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the establishment of global standards, frameworks, and reusable automation modules that enable consistent and secure software delivery at scale.
  • Act as a technical authority and mentor, guiding cross-functional teams in the application of DevSecOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), cloud security, and FinOps.
  • Drive the automation of security processes and ensure observability across the software development lifecycle.
  • Influence product teams through thought leadership, frameworks, and reusable solutions that enhance security and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with software delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role, with a strong focus on cloud-native architectures.
  • Hands-on expertise in DevSecOps tooling and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
  • Experience with cloud security principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to influence and mentor teams in adopting DevSecOps best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with FinOps practices and cost optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Certifications in DevSecOps, cloud security, or related fields.
