Remote Middle Information Developer - Technical Documentation

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Middle Information Developer to join our team at ELEKS. This position is crucial for enhancing our client's digital tools aimed at risk mitigation. As a Middle Information Developer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that meets industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Understand product requirements and develop documentation with minor supervision from senior staff.
• Create and edit technical documentation such as user guides, installation guides, and quick-reference guides.
• Utilize Microsoft Style Guide and other standards to ensure documentation quality.
• Communicate effectively with project managers to establish task deadlines.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
• Implement structured authoring and minimalism in documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to create context-sensitive help systems.
• Participate in peer reviews to maintain documentation consistency.

Requirements

• Experience in creating documentation following the Microsoft Style Guide.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MadCap Flare.
• Advanced English level (Advanced+).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skills and understanding of DDLC.
• A degree in Translations, Philology, or Applied Linguistics is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HTML, XML, and CSS for basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with video documentation creation.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring junior staff.
