About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Legal Counsel to join our dynamic product development team. This role is crucial for ensuring that our products comply with legal standards and regulations, particularly in the realms of AI regulation and data protection. As a Remote Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our legal strategies and ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal advice on product development, focusing on compliance with intellectual property laws and regulations.
• Draft and review commercial agreements, ensuring they align with our business objectives and legal requirements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, particularly in the areas of privacy law, GDPR, and data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to integrate legal considerations into product design.
• Support talent acquisition efforts by providing legal guidance on employment contracts and related matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a legal counsel, with a focus on product development and compliance.
• Strong understanding of AI regulation, privacy laws, and intellectual property rights.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in a tech or SaaS environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud-native capabilities.
• Experience in the public sector or with B2B SaaS sales.
• Knowledge of health technology and consumer protection laws.
