About the Role

At MissionWired, we are looking for a Remote HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our managers and employees in all aspects of people-related functions. As a Remote HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience across our digital and direct mail agency. Your expertise in people development and engagement will empower our leadership to attract and retain top talent, making a significant impact on our mission-driven organization.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively support managers and employees to enable them to make people-centric decisions while ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the People team to deliver excellence in programs such as performance management, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Assist the Senior HRBP in coaching managers on team development, navigating employee relations issues, and applying MissionWired practices and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of career path frameworks and support employee lifecycle changes from onboarding to exits.
  • Engage in key people initiatives such as diversity and inclusion, manager enablement, and organizational design.
  • Regularly pull data and update standard reports in the People and DEIB space.
  • Help maintain records and performance management software.

Requirements

  • A proven record of effectively supporting managers in complex people situations.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on People Operations and/or culture & engagement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at various organizational levels.
  • Experience working with people at all levels across the organization.
  • Adaptability to evolving priorities and changing situations.
  • Affinity for data reporting and data-informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of HR policy and regulations.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with employees in multiple states.
  • Experience in an agency environment with 200+ employees strongly preferred.
