Remote Associate Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Associate Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology to join our dynamic team at Apogee Therapeutics. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative biologics aimed at treating various inflammatory and immunology conditions. As a key player in our organization, you will engage with Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs) to ensure the robust production of drug substances, ultimately impacting the lives of patients who rely on our therapies.

What You'll Do

• Lead and oversee the late-stage development processes through to commercialization, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with CDMOs to establish and optimize manufacturing processes for drug substances.
• Drive the implementation of best practices in manufacturing science and technology to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to support product development and regulatory submissions.
• Mentor and develop a team of scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing science and technology within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in leading late-stage development and commercialization activities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in drug manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
• Experience working with CDMOs and managing external partnerships effectively.

Nice to Have

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience in antibody engineering and biologics development.
• Familiarity with process validation and technology transfer.
