About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Administrator to join our dynamic team at Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering. This role offers the opportunity to support various projects while working remotely. As a Remote Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to our clients, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
What You'll Do
- Perform full clerical, administrative, and general office duties, including transcription, typing, record and file maintenance, and data entry.
- Act as the first point of contact for the manager, screening correspondence and telephone calls.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate arrangements for meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared.
- Organize and maintain files of the manager’s correspondence and records, following up on pending matters.
- Prepare routine letters and memoranda for the manager’s review, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Support in collecting information and data for reporting purposes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.
- Manage travel arrangements, including accommodation and car hire, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Engage in general office housekeeping activities as required to maintain a productive work environment.
Requirements
- Experience in an administrative role, demonstrating a strong understanding of office operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT software, enabling effective task execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for clear interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work while prioritizing tasks effectively.
