Quality Inspector - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Balanced Body is hiring a Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team! This remote opportunity allows you to contribute to quality inspections, audits, and reporting of non-conforming materials or products. As a Quality Inspector, you will ensure that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Participate in quality inspections and audits of manufacturing processes.
- Report on non-conforming materials or products to maintain quality standards.
- Operate various machines to produce prototype parts for engineering.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments for dimensional data.
- Maintain parts and supply inventories in the MRP system.
- Perform QA functions including inspecting, auditing, and reporting on incoming materials and parts.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-directed.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in Quality Inspection.
- Experience working in a machine shop is required.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper lock-out tag-out procedures.
- Proficient in math with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with advanced inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of quality control standards in manufacturing.
