Production Control Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to join our team at Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical testing. This Production Control Coordinator role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting our Milpitas, CA lab in delivering timely client data. As a Production Control Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in bridging communication between clients, the Production Control department, and our team of scientists.

What You'll Do

• Log and track the receipt and shipment of all samples.
• Create and manage daily production schedules.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
• Quickly identify and resolve production bottlenecks or delays.
• Label and store samples in accordance with documented procedures.
• Support multiple departments and sites in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
• May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory and materials management.
• Understanding of lead times, capacity, and resource allocation.
• Ability to work independently under time constraints and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to read in Chinese is a plus.

• Experience in a laboratory or production environment.
• Familiarity with production control software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
